インド工科大学ハイデラバード校との基本合意書（MoU）締結について

11月16日（日）にインド工科大学ハイデラバード校（Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad(IITH））との共同研究?国際交流?事業開発に関する基本合意書（Memorandum of Understanding(MoU））を締結しました。
IITHは、インド政府の高等教育強化政策の一環として設立されたインド国内でトップレベル工科大学群であり、そのなかでも2008年に設立されたIITHは、我が国との人材交流を活発に進めており、産学連携やアントレプレナーシップ教育にも注力する発展著しい教育研究機関です。
本学は、農学と工学を融合した尖鋭的研究を強みにしており、経済発展著しいインドの中でも存在感を示しているIITHとMoUを結ぶことで、両学の強みをさらに高めることを目指します。さらに、本MoU締結により、研究活動の国際展開や研究成果の社会実装を加速し、本学が推進する文部科学省「地域中核?特色ある研究大学強化促進事業（J-PEAKS）」における海外戦略の強化を進めます。
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) signed the "Agreement for Scholarly Exchange and Collaboration Between the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology" with the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH). This Agreement, effective from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2030, sets the framework for joint research, international exchange, and project development activities between the two institutions.
IITH are a group of top-tier engineering and technology universities in India, established under the Indian government's initiative to enhance higher education. Founded in 2008, IITH is one of the fastest-growing educational and research institutions in the country, actively promoting talent exchange with Japan and placing strong emphasis on industry-academia collaboration and entrepreneurship education.
TUAT’s strength lies in pioneering interdisciplinary research that integrates agriculture and engineering. By partnering with IITH, an institution gaining prominence amid India's rapid economic growth, we expect the strengths of both universities will be elevated. Furthermore, this Agreement will accelerate international research collaboration and social contribution of research outcomes, complementing TUAT’s global strategy under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s “Program for Forming Japan’s Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS)”.
