■受賞概要
●テーマ：「The Role of Al-based Additives to Control Ash Adhesion at High Temperatures」
●内 容：石炭やバイオマスを燃やす火力発電は生活に不可欠です。それらの発電では、燃料の燃え残った成分である灰が付着することで、熱が伝わりにくくなったり、ガスが流れにくくなったりする問題が起こります。この研究ではAlを含む薬剤を用いて、灰の付着を抑制する新手法を提案します。この手法は発電所の安定運転を維持します。
