Scholarships for Privately Financed International Students
Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students
This is a scholarship program for self-financed international students run by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).
Monthly amount of scholarship is 48,000 yen for graduate students and undergraduate students.
Students who wish to receive the scholarship should apply for registration in April (Spring/Summer semester) and October (Fall/Winter semester).

Each faculty conducts an interview and document screening. After recommendation ranking for the scholarship is determined by TUAT, students who meet the requirements for recipients from the top-ranked applicants are recommended for the scholarship.
