Environmental problems are serious issues common to all of humanity. Our affluence, which has been supported by mass production, mass consumption, and mass waste, all of which are dependent on limited fossil fuels, is now at a turning point in the early 21st century. Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences promotes environmental resource science so that future human beings can live sustainably in harmony with the global environment, and fosters talented people who can contribute to solving environmental problems and building a recycling-oriented society.
Educational goals Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences aims to create a scientific foundation for humanity to live in harmony with the global environment, and to train talented individuals who have acquired basic academic skills in natural sciences such as biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, as well as the insight and inquisitiveness to contribute to solving problems related to the environment and resources.

Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences is located on Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Technology's Fuchu Campus.
Directions by Train Get off at "Kokubunji Station" on the JR Chuo Line and take the "Fuchu Station bound bus (via Myojo Gakuen)" from South Exit Platform 2 for about 10 minutes and get off at "Harumicho" bus stop. Get off at Keio Line "Fuchu Station" and take the "Kokubunji Station South Exit Bus (via Myojo Gakuen)" from the North Exit Bus Terminal Platform 3 for about 7 minutes and get off at the "Harumicho" bus stop. By JR Musashino line, Kita-Fuchu Station
